    Congrat's on the WRX!
Don't you just love AWD it's the best.
My favorite brand is SPT. My car is loaded with it.
The Cat-back is loud but not to loud.

Welcome, 09 is a good platform to start from.. Your going to love yours I love mine. Get the hatch or the sedan? Im partial to sedan... I will say the first upgrade any owner should get is a cobb access port. Then go from there.

I would definitely start with an Accesport from Perrin. Best power gains for the money you can get.

    Congrats!

There are other brands out there besides SPT.

I <3 my Cobb catback which I got used for real cheap!

Welcome and congratulations!!! I see you are power hungry so here's what I would do with an 09 WRX for power:

    Warlboro 255lph fuel pump
    750CC injectors
APS 3" TBE(providing APS makes one for your car, if not a Perrin or Cobb TBE)
    Cobb Access Port
    Pro-tune
Race gas tune or water/meth injection

You really have an awesome, sexy car with plenty of potential!

before you mod anything, go outside open your drivers door and look at the build date. Make sure you dont have a july/aug 2008 build date. If you do, dont mod a thing because you will soon be replacing your engine.

If he does he'll blow his engine before his break in period is up. Given how many made in that range let go I don't think he'll have a problem getting the stealership to fix his car should he spin a bearing.

Access port and SPT catback were my first mods. An Invidia catted down pipe soon followed. Like the sound, rumbles but doesn't seem to bother the police.
Do your research for the full turbo back, if you want 325-350whp you'll need it. Some mixed brands (different companies for dp and cbe) can sound a bit odd.

Youtube is where i did my research. Have FUN!
