End of the year the prices go down a little.
Once the 2010 models come out the remaining 2009 prices will go down. If you are on a buget you can always look into buying a good used WRX. Just make sure to check the cars history and stuff.

Student loans suck! Join the army and they will pay them off for you. I would wait till end of model year. May not get the deals people got on the 08's because there was that big change between 08-09 and not so much (from the rumors) between the 09-10.

just bought me a 09 sti. i effing love it. used to drive a focus and was never part of any focus clubs, lmao! want to buy winter tires and wheels. any1 buy from tirerack.com before?

im also 23. should i wait till im 25 to get a subaru just cause of the insurance costs? is that ever a good reason to wait?

Money is always a good reason to wait. Why hand over money to the insurance company simply to own some car? It's not worth it, it's just not that important.

my insurance went from $785 a year, to like $1450, but i totaled a 2004 focus 100% at fault (rollover) and replaced it with a brand new 2009 sti.

pay the cost to be the boss, u never know what might happen in 2 years brother.

I don't wanna say never, but I probably would not be giving up this much for insurance voluntarily, ever.
