04 Rex, New to the forums.

    Sup guys,

Kinda a late bloomer on the site but, Im Matt, from PA, new to the forums just dropping by to say whats good? Had my rex for about a year now. Mostly minor mods and bolt ons atm. Looking to learn as much about these gorgeous cars as possible, still somewhat of a noob, so I figured this would be the right place! Couple shots of her:

Looking forward to meeting you guys and seeing some nice rides.

Same! Haha I've done the same, and also couldnt bring myself to change the color. Theres something beautiful about the mixture. Ill see how the car looks with the carbon hood, might sway me differently, doubt it though

    Beautiful car!

If I were to change one thing about it, it would be to clear the headlights...those amber areas just aren't doing it for me. But that's just me.

    Oh, I meant to ask:

Why do people debadge their cars? I understand getting rid of excessive lettering and all that, but I've always liked the "Suabru" across the back and the Subaru logo as well.

why do people get aftermarket wheels? why do people put on front lips? why do people get spoilers? its just a matter of opinion.

i personally think it looks cleaner when debadged.

sometimes people with sti's will take off their spoiler & badges as a more stealthy look.

Exactly like wrxtrem06 said, I think it makes the car look much cleaner when its debadged. Headlights are defiently in the working as well, as are the tails.

    Thanks for the comments :P

Hello and welcome to the club
Your rex looks very nice, but the headlights are in desperate need of a 3M restoration
Also what is your suspension setup, I really like the way it sits.

No! If your opinion diverges from mine, it is wrong!

My WRX is debadged and spoiler-less, and I think it looks great, so I'm not criticizing. I just had never even heard of debadging until I was buying mine. I thought, "Hmmm... something looks different about this somehow...oh hey look, it doesn't say Subaru on the back anymore."

The practice just seems odd to me is all...not something I would've thought of doing.
