My plans for it now are to get rid of the hellas and put in the stock horns because I don't really like the way the car looks with them in there and to swap out my headlights with 05 WRX headlights. I like the way the 05's have the black housing. I'm trying to get some sort of EM really soon as well. Enjoy let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

I agree, although those are not really serious mods. If he upgraded the turbo and went way over factory boost he might have something to worry about. Profesional tuning is not cheap.

any time you have an 04+ wrx or sti with a full exhaust & no tune, you have something to worry about. it may not be as extreme as a turbo upgrade but you still need a tune regardless or youre risking damage.

Yes, you need an EM for engine mods

professional tuning is not cheap, however using a laptop & a tatrix cable is.

I think you worry a litle too much..Boxer engines are very strong with solid electronics, WRX factory clutches aren't worth a crap. If you mod you had better change up the clutch and flywheel.

    That's a purty car...

Tasteful mods.... I'm sure it's tuned... just ask the ex-owner what they used.

I didnt know I needed a tune that bad. I've been told that a tune for my setup was a must but I didnt think it was that bad.

I was planning on getting an accessport in a month or two (because of financial reasons) but I guess Im going to have to get it sooner then I thought.

Do you guys trust open source tunes?

That's cool if you want to go that rout. Better run it on a dyno before you hit "enter"

i myself have an accessport, but many go the opensource route without a problem.

i kind of feel like your nit-picking everything i'm saying. we simply have different views on the topics at hand. lets just leave it at that

Not nit picking. I do agree with alot of your advice to these guys. Didn't mean to sound that way.
