    I just bought my blue 02 about 3 weeks ago. Played in the mud for the first time today.

    Also for my current mods, for someone who asked, is just a few things;

    Blitz Nur R-spec Cat-Back Exhaust system

    Blitz BOV

    STi- TMIC

    STi- Fog Lamp Covers

    Thats it so far, I also have an STi wing and larger hood scoop bulge but they aren't painted.....sooo more to come...oh and I just tinted it last night! 5%rears and 20% front!!

    The Cat Back and BOV were on there when I bought it, then when I got home my friend sold me his old STi things and I installed those....

    25 front and rear is the legal limit. Just saying in case you get pulled over.

    Thanks for the heads up but I just got pulled over today!! haha and they dont care around these parts, oh and it helps to be a part time state inspector as well....lol

    actually its 20 in the front(+/-2) and as dark as you want in the back.

    A month later and were still talking about Tint Limits....wtf come on theres gotta be something else please someone, switch the subject from tint!!! lol

    Actually, this varies by state. In PA it's 70% VLT, minimum.

    Check your local laws.

    I hope you're not a Texas inspector (where the OP lives) because that's wrong.

    Texas Department of Public Safety - Window Tinting Standards

    TRANSPORTATION CODE**CHAPTER 547. VEHICLE EQUIPMENT

    Sec. 547.613. RESTRICTIONS ON WINDOWS. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a person commits an offense that is a misdemeanor:

    (1) if the person operates a motor vehicle that has an object or material that is placed on or attached to the windshield or side or rear window and that obstructs or reduces the operator's clear view; or

    (2) if a person, including an installer or manufacturer, places on or attaches to the windshield or side or rear window of a motor vehicle a transparent material that alters the color or reduces the light transmission.

    (b) This section does not apply to:

    (1) a windshield that has a sunscreening device that:

    (A) in combination with the windshield has a light transmission of 25 percent or more;

    (B) in combination with the windshield has a luminous reflectance of 25 percent or less;

    (C) is not red, blue, or amber; and

    (D) does not extend downward beyond the AS-1 line or more than five inches from the top of the windshield, whichever is closer to the top of the windshield;

    (2) a wing vent or a window other than a windshield if the vent or window has a sunscreening device that in combination with the vent or window has:

    (A) a light transmission of 25 percent or more; and

    (B) a luminous reflectance of 25 percent or less;

    i work at gillman honda of san antonio. . idk if that changes anything but down here its 20% give or take 2. thats what the little tint machines we have say and the cops down here.
