Wink new mem. lookin for advice for my impreza

Hi everyone, new to the forum. I just got an '09 base impreza ( i know a wrx or sti would have been nicer). Im looking to make it alot quicker. Anyone have any ideas for some great mods, what i would need to get it running well, turbochargers supercharger, anything i might be able to use? links would also be appreciated, thanks all.

by the time you invest the time & money into the impreza to put a turbo/supercharger on it, you might as well have just bought the WRX to begin with.

no offence, but theres really not too much you can do.

a lot of n/a members tend to focus on suspension more than anything

That car will never be quicker without forced induction, which will require you to tear the motor of your brand new car apart to install forged parts. It will cost more than getting a WRX would have and your powertrain warranty will be nonexistent.

N/A modding for power is near futile. A few years ago a tuning company put $20,000 into a 2.5RS (same thing as a 2.5i is now) just to get it up to stock WRX level in a drag race. Your best bet is to stick with suspension mods.

That is something you should of researched a lot before buying. You will end up spending more to make the base Impreza as quick as a WRX, than if you would have just gone with the WRX in the first place.
