    cobb map ?'s for noob

noob obviously, but need your exp. just got my car last week, & just picked up my cobb ap!!! the 04 sube is still pretty stock. stock injectors, intake, exhaust, and turbo. that being said do i run a stage 1 map with 91 or stage 1 map with 93, or some other map? is the paying for 93 oct gas worth the extra 5 hp? is there another location for a map besides cobbtuning.com that works on a stock 04??? btw i know i need exhaust and other goodies.. gimme a break i've only owned the car a wk as of today. thanks guys

I think you have already figured this part out; but go here and read the map notes and choose the one that best matches your car's set up.

cobb . wrx accessport . map listing

Your gas stations have both 91 and 93? Interesting. Just choose one and stick with it (gas and map).

Well except the race station, they pump 93 96 and 100 but it's pricey.

That is definitely good to know. Around here we have 89, 91, and 93. Although I haven't found anywhere to get race gas yet

HAHA, our lowest grade is 87 I just run 91 since every station has it.

To the OP, Those stage maps are really up to you, what octane do you feel like paying for always? Like the first poster said, pick a gas and map and stick with it

Everywhere that I have lived has had low mid and high grade. 87, 89 and 91 or 93.
