im planing on buying an sti I was woundering what the difference between 04-05 and 06-07 sti is other then the looks whitch is better or is one evean better then the other? thanks for your input

There were numerous changes over the years, in the interior, the suspension, the hubs, the differentials, the engine mapping, the lighting...

Get the newest car you can afford provided it was maintained with authentic Subaru parts, there are no unauthorized parts fitted, the maintenance is all documented, and (ideally) it has a valid manufacturer warranty.

There were also gearbox and drivetrain changes now that I think of it but that doesn't change my previous comment.
