    Hello,

That's a nice car. On the top of every forum there are sticky threads with information. Check out the engine modifications stuff to answer your question, but keep in mind your stated goal is increasing the power of a daily driver by roughly 50%.

Neither of these will help. It's also not cost effective to replace a motor that runs. If/when the motor stops you could consider a 2.5L block with your existing heads but that's hopefully far down the road, if ever, and by then it may not be cost effective to mess with it at all, who knows... Look at simpler mods from the sticky threads initially and see what you think.

Why would you swap the exact same motor you already have?

I had an SVT Focus for a while too. CD Silver '03 with EAP. Nice car but it kept falling apart, so I traded for a Mazdaspeed Miata, which I traded for the '09 WRX. Were you on FF? /hijack
