    New Here, with exhaust problems

Hey everyone, i've owned a wrx since 05, i bought an apexi N95 exhaust years ago (2 months after buyin car), anyways a few months ago it rusted thru at the flange before the cat converter, just wondering if i can weld it back and put it on, or if i need a new converter or even a new exhaust. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated,

    Thanks

So is the pipe rusted through or is the flange rusted through?

If it's teh flange you should be able to get by with cutting the old one off and welding a new one on.

If it is the pipe, you can go weld a piece of metal ove the hole to cover it up. Will more than likely rust through again though.

or, you can put up the $$$ and get a new exhaust.

rusted thru the pipe, damn near where the weld is already connecting to the flange, my biggest concern is if the cat is still good because i need an E-test before i can buy out the car, or should i just buy a new one? (the exhaust has been off for a couple months now)

i don't see why the cat still won't be good. so long as the cat isn't rusted through you should be in the clear
