New 2007 Sti owner and need help with turbo uprgades!

Hey i just bought a 2007 STI. It has a catback and intake. I want to do a turbo upgrade that will get me into the 400whp range. And 11 second range in the 1/4 mile. I want a safe turbo that will be fine for off track driving. Not worried about fuel mileage, needs to be safe! i dont want to be buying parts all the time! Can anyone recomend anything? Money is not a huge issue, it would be nice to only spend around 2000 on parts. anyone?

You're gonna be spending a whole lot more than that. Plan on pulling the block and installing pistons.

Rotated is the only reliable way to get there on pump gas. Not sure where you stand on meth or higher octane fuel.

hey yeah i read that thread thanks, no i am upgrading from a 2002 Trans am ws6 with some bolt ons and a cam. I was at 390whp. I understand that its a whole new ball field lol. I wanted to do everything at once to save money. I dont want to do anything but bolt ons. NO ENGINE MODS! resale value will be gone! thanks for the help tho.
    so this one sounds good?

    GT30R rotated mount turbo kit
    Front mount intercooler
Header to go with whatever up pipe that setup uses, even better if they make a header specifically for their rotated kit.
    Injectors
    fuel pump
Intake (this will be part of the rotated kit most likely)
    Custom tune obviously.

but is a rotated mount going to give me lag?
i really dont want lag! i would rather go with something alittle smaller and less powerfull.

what do u guys think? thanks
