Hello!
I was interested in making my next car a Subaru STI. Money is not a factor. I like the new hatchbacks & was considering getting one. Can anyone give me a general breakdown of the STi's over the past few years? Are the new one's better or worse than older models?

The new 330 STI is apparently a little gem.
Amazing performance and grip as you would expect and suprisingly good miles to the gallon if driven sensibly around 38 MPG.
Which by any standards of a perfromance car is pretty good.
PS - Wellcome to the club IMO any Preza is a good one![]()

Thanks for the informative replys.
Currently I drive a 2.3l Focus ZX3. A few mods, it's cute and all..
But i wanna know what AWD+turbo feels like...& in a hatch! Can't wait to test drive one soon!
Glad to be apart of another enthusiastic & informative forum!
I have test drove the new sti twice and with many other cars alike you will need to drive it for a couple of months to get used to the car first... only then will you be able to take advantage of its potential...![]()

What do you mean take advantage of its potential? it's got 300hp out the box. Does something about the new STi's drive different?
first 500 miles you gotta keep it below 4500 rpm, after that for the first 1,000 miles I would just steadily go through the gears, get the motor good and seated before rapeing it.
