    New WRX Gal!

    Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Stephanie. I live in New Hampshire. I've been a proud owner of a WRX for almost 5 years now!

I bought my '04 WRX brand new and it will be completely paid for in a couple months! Woo hoo! Do I dare trade it in for an '09???

    Thanks,
    Stephanie

    Welcome to the club!

I do love my 09, but, it's a completely different ride then the older models, just have to drive it and find out if it's what you like

You have the best car on earth(paid off), I'd hold onto it until you have a reason to want to change. If you're itching for it to be a different car, maybe toss some mods at it.

I hear ya, it would be nice not to have a car payment.
    What mods would you suggest?

I had the Stage 1 and sold it...
It's still pretty much stock except for rims, guage pod and ground effects. I removed some of the emblems on the back and I have the pink "i" emblem in the front.

It looks the same as everyone else.

I would go Stage II,it just wakes the car up a bit. Get a nicer exhaust for it like the cobb or P&L sig series.

I agree with Brian H, keep your WRX. There is so much pontential in the car. I have an 05 I bought off of a friend, modded it a little, will mod it again, and will never sell it.

    I would do the following:

    Debadged STi fog covers
    STi front splitters
    V-Limited style front lip
    STi Side Skirts
    STi rear fender flares
Carbon fiber decklid or wingless with 07 sti limited rear deck lid spoiler

Stage 2 performance with COBB, HKS, or Invidia cat back

H6 Rear upgrade with stainless lines at all 4 and upgraded pads/fluid or 06 Brake upgrade.

Steph - the best answer depends on what's in your wardrobe - if the colours don't match the car then buy a new one. May I suggest a black STI to go with the LBD that all girls have, along with the gold BBS rims to match the necklace you wear with that special outfit?

If my wife sees this she's gonna kick my ass on your behalf...

I like the way you think! lol! Gold rims are HOT! Hmmmm... I wonder if the gold would clash with world rally blue???

Funny that you would relate my car to my wardrobe and accessories... I actually work in a business setting and have to dress very sophisticated everyday for work. I love that the WRX is a car that looks sophisticated yet fun, young and rugged. It's a car that's respected on the road! And lets face it, the car is just sexy!
