    have bought my first scooby

    i picked up my first sooby 3 days ago and god im luving it .its A 52 plate wrx sti its knocking out 305 bhp.has any 1 got any suggetions on how to improve the bhp and is it a good idea to get a turbo gauge or does not matter

    52 plate wrx sti??

    its called a boost gauge not a turbo gauge and yes its a good thing to have.

    suggest you read up.

    A proper boost gauge is definitely a good addition, as there isn't one in the binnacle. I wouldn't source a used one from the breakage yard, as the performance could be a bit dodgy, though you might save a fair bob. I'd give a new gauge kit a go. The fiddly bits on the installation make it a bit more interesting, but it will be a proper kit to soldier on with when it's sorted.

    Give it a go and you'll have a fantastic ride when your hard on it. Absolutely crackin'

    LOL at the English. Turbo gauge, breakers yard (or just breakers), save a few bob, and I've never heard the term binnacle used like that before
