New to the site... girls welcome?

Hey bros! Just upgraded from a 06 WRX to a 06 STi and totally in Subie Heaven! Only problem I am having is trying to figure out the best settings for the DCCD controller. I live in an area that gets mass amounts o' snow, so I kinda need to get this figured out quick. Can anyone help?

Leave it in auto unless you find yourself getting stuck, then change it to lock.

I have been leaving it in auto for the most part. It just seems that in the auto setting, I'm not feeling the power of the AWD as well as I did with my WRX. It doesn't feel as shared. It's reaction feels slow. It feels like there is more power to those rear wheels. I also haven't been able to play around with it as much to find the setting I like. I usually get around 4-6 ft of snow where I live, and I just don't feel like the auto setting is gonna cut it.

Do you know what the breakdown is as far as where the power is split between front and rear, for each bar step down? I'm not stupid (slightly blond ), but I just don't want to screw anything up.

IIRC, you can set it anywhere from 50/50 to 35/65 (F/R)
