    Another new guy

Hey! obviously im new. I dont own a WRX yet but im working on saving the money and buying one very soon. so just a quick introduction. My name is Andrew. I currently own a 2001 Toyota Celica GT(que the laughing) i'm looking to get something that i can highly modify and also goes SUPER fast and WRXs have caught my eye for a while. If someone could point me to all the pros and cons of the WRX that would help tremendously. Thanks!

    Welcome to the club.

The WRX does many things really well. It's very quick, handles very well, does great in in-climate weather, etc, etc. However, if flat-out straight line speed is your primary goal, there are better options out there. By that I mean cars that either cost less initially and/or cost less to upgrade to significantly better straight line performance then the WRX.

well mainly i want a car that i can actually run on a circuit track and possibly do some other excursions in(i.e canyon runs). I want a fast car that can handle extreme handling conditions. i dont prefer going in a straight line but it is fun sometimes.
