My name is George and I want to buy my first wrx wagon, an 2004 to be exact. The one I am trying to buy has about 229,905 mile on it. The car is in great condition. The price is $7000. Are these cars know to last a long time are the engines as legendary as they are told to bee? Can anyone point me in the right direction with this? Please anyone and everyone post something about this topic. Thanks to all in abvance.

    Thumbs down

229k is a ton of miles. That engine is more than likely near the end of its life span. Performance cars lead rough lives its just the order of things. No one buys a sports car to take it easy.

    My vote is no

MY vote is no as well, unless your planning on puting in a new motor. But then you have to worry about suspension and drive train, youd probbly spend way to much. I just got my 02 for 10000 and it has 63000 miles. I would keep looking

I would not pay $7000 for a Subaru with 229k the motor, etc.

Nope... that car would sell for about $3000 on ebay.

It may run fine..... for now.

You'd be an idiot to spend that much $$ on a car with that many miles.
