    turbo acting right?

This is my first turbo car and I'm not sure if the boost is doing what its suppose to. it spools up and kicks in about 3.5 to 4000 rpm, then it blasts to about 5000 (the stock turbo guages reads .1 then rapidly drops to .05) and the boost cuts out then the car kind of stutters wile its on its way to 6000. Is this normal for a 02 rex? also I live in Colorado, is the altitude jacking with the turbo? I just got it and it only has 63000 miles.

did you buy it locally? i mean, did you just bring up to elevation, or has it been at your altitude for a while?

Well, it seems you are over boosting. .1 Mpa is 14.5psi. Stock for an '02 should be 13.5psi.

I'm sorry, I am currently too drunk to solve your problem. I just hit my knee on my coffee table, it hurts like a mother.

Wait 'till the day shift gets in on Monday.
