    Cool

I am curious if anyone has information how to pull out the entire back seat set-up in a 2002 WRX? And also if anyone knows if dirt will make rear struts squeak? I have really nice aftermarket struts but they are really squeaky in the rear, I am also curious as to if there is a lube or something I can put on it to reduce the squeaks? Thanks in advance!

    Rear Seat Removal

The back seat is easy to remove. There should be I think either 2 or 4 bolts that hold the lower section of the seat on in the front, I think they are 14mm. Undo them, and tilt the lower section up and it should pull straight out. The upper section will then have 4 bolts that connect it on the lower area. Undo them, and then slide the seat back UP towards the rear windshield. There are a couple of metal hooks that it is attached to. (From personal experience, if you are doing it by yourself, Undo each side, then pull down the center hatch, and slide the middle up.) Slide the seat belt straps off to the side, and then upper section should slide right out. This will expose your rear strut towers and stuff. When reinstalling the seat, MAKE SURE YOU REATTACH the seat to the metal hooks before re-bolting the top section down. If you need me to, i can always take pictures and post them for you. Just let me know.
As for the squeak, I am pulling my rear seat out tomorrow to see why mine is squeaking as well. I recently installed a set of Megan Racing Struts and springs, and I cant figure out where the squeak is coming from. The dealership said it might be from the snow fall splitting the rear windshield seal. Let me know what you find out though!

By the way! Does anybody know how to add a picture in the area below your name???

Huh? Where did this question come from? Why don't you be more specific and start a new thread in the troubleshooting section.

    Interior moisture

Yes actually, its quite common. The doors are frameless and if you have the cars vents set to pull air in from the outside, you will typically get moisture inside the car. There really isn't a good way to fix that problem.

BTW, did it help with the removal of the back seats or do I still need to post pix?
