    Which Color? - 2009 WRX 4-door

Hi everyone! Im planning on buying the newest REX and ive got everything ready but one thing... i havent decided which color yet! i was thinkin at 3 options: Classic looks (WR Blue & golden rims), or red or white with the new grey colored rims, which would you think could suit the car best?

Oh, any other color option does not work for me! Im going for one of those 3!!! Please help!

I vote White for several reasons.

    1. Subarus paint sux so blue and red will chip and show.
    2. Red fades fastest of the 3.
    3. WRB is hard to paint match in the event of an accident and doesn't look as good on the new body style IMO.
    4. I have a friend with a white 2008 with tinted windows that looks awesome.
    5. White always looks clean.

<--- owns a black wrx and regrets it

    BTW nice first post, welcome.

Sorry white still wins. It looks clean even when its filthy. A close second is light silver. Coincidentally since 2007 white is the #1 most sold color in America with silver being a close second .

satin white sucks , if you park next to a true aspen white subaru (or any other plain white) your car will look like p00p !

imho WRB because most peeps will be buying grey, satin or silver
therefore you'll actually be more unique in the 08/09 color range

I would have to go with white also. A set of mud flaps should help in rainy areas.
I might be back in the market for the new STI sedan!

I have never been lucky enough to buy new so always had to settle for the best deal... which is a blessing actually!

I would be staring at the color chart for hours and wouldn't be able to make a decision.

The first color I saw the hatch in was the gunmetal grey and loved it ever since...!

If not that I would suggest the blue with gold rims!

    Good luck on choosing!

Agreed. My previous three cars were white are are easy to keep clean. I think silver (what I have now) stays at least as clean as white, if not more so.

    BTW welcome to the club!

Whats your reason for buying a Subaru if you just going with the flow on the color?
I bought mine to have something different... as with the color.

This comment would have put me off silver and white for life yo!

Which is why my wifes cars are always and will always be white and silver...learned this one the hard way. In 2000ish she bought a used 97 accord in dark purple. Decent color, but between dirt and water spots the car looked horrible in no time.

*Note to youngins: When the wifes car is dirty and looks like hell, relentless nagging ensues. And before you ask, no they aren't gonna wash their own car (or at least wash it alone). If you find one that does and she isn't completely bat**** crazy, keep her.

I hate washing my wifes car because I discover all kinds of scratches, dents and "howd that get there"'s. So in 2005 we got her a light Silver Scion and I have been a happy man ever since.
