What was old is new again

Well I'm not a new member, but I'm a new owner...again. I've had an 05 WRX for 2 years and after a lot of deliberation I sold it and bought a 2005 WRB STI. I've put about 550 miles on it so far and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I'll report back about my experiences in a more appropriate section, I just wanted to report the change.

Thanks a lot guys. Saving all of my impressions for a bit of a comparison but I will say this, my mileage concerns seem unfounded. On the way home I had to fill up twice. The first time was almost entirely highway and I got 28.1 mpg. That's better than I ever acheived with my WRX (best, all highway: 27.8). I was psyched. Then I had a ton of twisty backroads (most fun I've had in a long time) and travelling through towns mixed with some more highway. I got 24 mpg. It's completely stock. We'll see if this continues but I was really happy to see this, especially since I only expect it to get better with some intelligent mods.
