New here and possibly getting my dad's WRX

    Hey guys and gals,

Figured I join a WRX forum since I may be getting my Dad's WRX. I think he just bought an A3.

The WRX is an '04 with 86k on the clock, him being the only owner. So far it has needed nothing but oil changes and a set of tires. The lower exterior trim is in rough shape, and the wheels need to be refinished (DIY kinda thing), but so far it's held up pretty darn well.

I am currently driving a 1996 Saab 900 turbo with 123k that has needed some TLC and still has a few bugs to work out, but it still pulls strong as hell. As much as I want to keep this car, it just might not be my best financial move at this point in my life (22 yo). So yeah... I need to make up my mind.

Just thought I'd introduce myself and use this site to search around over the next few days to help me out a bit.

...as i am quickly finding out!

i am on a few saab forums and they prove to be valuable, so i thought i would join this one even before i get the WRX. i think it would be dumb not to take him up on the offer. in fact, he is going to pick up the new car this afternoon.

i just have to get over my high maintenance swedish... um, car... first
