Wink New Southern California Member: WRX Wagon in World Rally Blue

    Greetings everyone,

New to this community forum, but I'm certainly not new in the auto world/car scene.

Looking forward to be a part of the WRX community. In the mean time, I am searching for a 2005 Subaru WRX Wagon in World Rally Blue, preferably bone stock. If you know anyone that is selling one with below 45k miles, feel free to have them pass me a PM.

I was look into purchasing a SUV since most of the cars that I currently own are sports/exotic cars. I narrowed down to what specific features I must have in a SUV, which was forced induction, manual transmission gearbox, and a light curb weight to save some gas. And then it made sense to me to consider a wagon which is more affordable since it has smaller tires, cheaper insurance (car vs. SUV), and its much easier to load up big cargo since its sitting lower than a SUV.

I've decided that a Subaru WRX Wagon might satisfy the cargo use that I need for a SUV without sacrificing too much from the sport driven feel that I desire.

I hope the positive experience I have had with other forums will be the same, if not better from this community!

    -A.

Sure, I'm positive some of you have seen it on the ads in the Super Street, Sport Compact Car and Import Tuner Magazines.

Thank you Teh! I appreciate the welcoming committee.

Any advice where I should get started? Particularly which thread? I've already began with the "Car Purchasing Forum." If I am looking to get the WRX Wagon, where else should I be lurking?

    Thumbs up

I want to know so much more about the WRX/STi. Its a different kind of animal.

Any pointers, threads, or DIY things I must do as soon as I get my hands on a Subaru WRX Wagon?

One thing is for sure, I already notice that the wagon don't have the front and rear fender flares that all sedans have.

Not to discriminate, I like the '02-'06 WRX and STi more than the newer model lineups for some reason. I don't know much about it, but it seems to make sense more.

I see a lot of STi, Evo's, and G37 trying to hit me up on the streets and attempt to run me. It makes me giggle because they look like they came right out of high school. But at the same time, I respect their ride because I remember when I was at that age, I wanted respect more than bragging rights.

It felt like I made a full circle with cars. I need a SUV type daily driver now for transporting. So what accommodates the best of both world? A wagon....and the Subaru WRX Wagon has my name on it and I'm ready to fork out the cash for it.
