    Hey guys,

    I have a question and I thought that this would be a good place to ask since I am getting a lot of views lol

    My car has just over a 100k on it and i have a lot of preventative maintenance planned. I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions of things to do other than the following:

    Timing belt, water pump, spark plugs and coils, changing all fluids and filters, having mechanic look at suspension and brakes.

    If there is anything you can think of like brands or other maintenance that would be great. Thanks in advance!

    Apart from the obvious to check hoses and belts - when your doing a timing belt it's good to replace the tensioners, thermostat and the front main oil seal since they have everything apart. The oil seal on our outback with 96k was shot, no leaks now though. The outer belts should be free labor because they will take them off to get to your timing & water pump. Do you have a way to check if you are hitting full boost?

    Thanks for the advice, i appreciate it, i will definitely have those things looked at as well. As for your question, my boyfriend had already ordered a voltmeter, boost gauge and a exhaust temp. gauge (Prosport). So, soon i will soon be able to check the boost, was there anything in particular that I should be aware of about the boost? or were you wondering if that was just running as it should?

    I'd seriously consider an oil pump if you are doing water pump and everything else...they have failed more then once if I recall.
