    wtf?

Hi i am relatively new to scoobys and need some help.
i have a pretty much stock 2002 wrx that when i am driving at high speeds
the check engine light will come on and stop the engine not turn it off but make
it hesitate.I was driving at about 80 mph and at about 4000 rpm when it came
on it has come on before and turned of before. IT always happens at high speed.
So what i am asking could i have a messed up sensor or is it somethin that all

    Your Problem

Hello well Im not sure if you have installed a manual boost controller or not but I had a very similar problem. It was set for to much boost and the engine would cut out. Then the check engine light would come on. Thats Subarus way of protecting the motor shuting it down before any damage is done. I just adjusted the controller and it never happened again.
    Hope that helps

    jucied up subie
