    New WRXer in CO

    Hey all,

Just bought my first subie, 2007 WRX wagon. Got it with about 12k miles, and am super happy with it so far! Bought out someones lease and got a pretty good deal on a very clean car.

    Gorgeous car!

I'm a colorado native, and coming home in a week. You need any help at all while I'm home let me know! I may be doing a vf39 swap into my 06.

(btw... that looks like either broofield, or parker... ?)

Thanks all, that pic is actually in Castle Rock, but it was from the day the original owner bought it. I live in Boulder, and the car is ~12k miles older now, but just as clean.

Sweet. Well I'm about 10-15 away in broomfield. You need any help, wanna check out some of the basics (what I've done), or just wanna snag a beer let me know. I'll probably be driving the boulder canyon run a few times while I'm back.

Congrats, she's gorgeous. Best looking snowboarder wagon money can buy.

nice, thanks for the offer. I really don't plan on modding much if at all, still have the warranty for another 3 years, and I just sold my heavily modded jeep to get this baby. I learned through that fiasco that modding a vehicle, while it improved performance in some areas, leaves the vehicle 'never-quite-right' and you never recoup any of that investment.

I'll probably add an OEM sub/amp combo, and certainly a boost gauge, and either an extra set of wheels with winter tires or just have tires swapped every season for driving in the mountains. Already put on a Thule rack and my old bike racks, realized quickly a bike doesn't fit in the back as well as in my cherokee.

    Oh, and I am a tele-skier

I got the OEM sub/amp and I wouldn't recommend it. Not the best sound for the $.

Telemark, huh? major respect. I have some buddies that are into tele, and into skins... never had the patience.
