    Stage 2 Options

Hey guys! I am looking to go the stage 2 route and was wondering your opinions on my decisions. I am deciding to go the XPT Map route for now to save some money.

As for the uppipe I am looking to go this route:
IAG Performance: INVIDIA UPPIPE FULLY POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL WITH EGT BUNG SUBARU WRX/STI/FXT/LEG, Up Pipes, HS02SW1UPP
From what I read Invidia is a good name brand and a great way to replace a catted 05 WRX uppipe.

For the downpipe, from what I read it seem just a pipe is a pipe so I am going this route:
    ERZ performance 02-06 WRX Down-pipe

I already found the gaskets I am going with so only thing I am missing is the tactrix cable. Does anyone know of any good deals on one or know of any used ones to borrow or buy off of?

This seems like a decent way to go stage 2 for right now with being stuck on a budget and I appreciate any input.

    Jeff

Since you're on a budget, I'd do the following:

Gut the stock UP - take the time to do it right, and get every piece of cat out
    Bosal Divorced shorty DP
    Gut the stock 3rd cat
    Tactrix
    XPT map

As for gaskets, just buy a whole new set to ensure you get a good seal. You'll need the following:
    UP to EM
    UP to turbo
    DP to turbo
    DP to midpipe
    Midpipe to CBE
2005 WRX STi (Mods | Virtual Dyno)

If you want to get the machine back to stock quickly, gutting might be the wrong answer. Just a thought....

You might also want to get some manifold gaskets. I had to take off mine to be able to get the uppipe out.

Gutting it is an easy, albeit a little time consuming, option.
