    Newbie

    Hello boys and gals,
My name is Paul and i'm new to this forum.
I'm the new proud owner of a 2002 wrx. I've always wanted one since they came out, but just could not afford it.This my first car thas as a turbo so i'm new to this world to. My car is completly stock for now other than the gold sti rims. I plan on adding an exhaust, an intake, and blow off valve with the upcoming pay checks. Any suggestion and were to purchase will be greatly apprciated.
    Paul,

    please read through this:

    http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/engine...ov-thread.html

specifically the section on the first page entitled: "Are there any downsides to aftermarket BOVs?"

and "Are there any negative effects with aftermarket BOVs?"

you wouldnt want to ruin your brand new car, would you?

Thank you for the headsup. And i though that the bov was actually good for the car.
But i mostly wanted it for the noise.

you can get a very similar noise with the silencer delete elbow, or by switching to a SRI (just make sure it's one of the few that are known to work well - APS, K&N, Cobb, SPT).

To start off the best thing you could probaly do is buy a Cobb accessport and get a turboback exhaust and go stage 2. That will hold you for a while. And welcome aboard!
