Smile New Member looking to make some Scooby mates

Hi to all, I have actually found a forumm I can use from work !! I am the new owner of a V spec 555 Scooby and to be fair cannot contain my glee.

On picking it up 3 weeks ago from ProDrive in Oxford where it was just serviced I drove it in anger whilst embarrassing a Porsche. The worst thing was the lad driving was obvoiusly trying to impress the blond next to him.

The car fly upto some ridicolous speed as he faded into the distance ever since then every time I drive her ( called her Thelma keeping with the Scooby theme ) it makes me smile.

I have got a few questions I could really do with some help so it would be great to link up with anyone who is like minded.

I am off to the Jap Fest at Silverstone this time to race Thelma and not my old boring MG ZS. This time I am not getting taken on the straight by a couple of 2 litre turbo vauxhall corsas !!

The car is white and I have already been looking at changes with wheels mudflaps graphics etc..........

Do we have any Car Clubs in the UK where we all meet up at race events as that would be wicked.

Lastly I would ,like to say that since having Thelma every ( yes every ) Scooby that has passed me or I have passed them have flashed me up and said hello making me feel part of the crew already. Can't beleive I finally have my dream car after waiting forever to afford the car and insurance etc.

Looking forward to making lots of friends and seeing lots of Scoobys

    me

Cheers Jeremy I am looking forward to making loads of mates from all over the world and the best thing is my Scooby adventure is just beginning.

I have got loads of work planned for the car and as the wife is as much of a Scooby fan as me she won't be moaning to me when I spend a couple of grand getting AP racing breaks.

How long have you had your car, apparently from what I have heard the cars are really reliable.

My car is a limited edition classic 96 Imprezza I do have photo's but need to work out how to post them with the messages etc.

Do you get many Scooby owners posting from England on here ??

That's probally due to not wanting to acknowledge their drives !!

There's such a good following in the UK I went to a club meet the other week and I have to admit I thought it was a bit clicky everyone in there small groups, but all the scooby owners were wicked, everyone wanted to know about every ones else rides and I even came across 2 white V spec limited 555's.

I am really happy that I swapped my MGZS for the imprezza even though she is a 96 and my MG was on a 03 plate.

Last year at Silverstone was embarassing espiecally when a Renault megane Coupe overtook me on the home straight.

However this year ..................Scooby Do !! See you !!

Do loads of people use this forum all the time then and how long have you been a member ??

Thought I would mention mines bigger ................thge exhaust that is :O)

I think it's great only been registered for an hour and already made 3 friends.

Since I first saw an Imprezza back in the ninties I could only dream of owning one, and I am so happy that she kicks out 300 BHP approx.

Everytime I put my foot down she's sounds wicked and looks the muts nuts ( dogs bollocks - good )

Just in case you misunderstand my slang ayy

Looking forward to many a conversation

    Matt :O)
