trouble with AP and overboost

I have posted a few differnt place with this issue but seem to get the best feedback from this forum(new member hangout). I have spt intake and catback with an AP v2.0 stage1 on my 06 wrx. I beleive that my boost is supossed to be in the 13.8 area but I'm see 16.8 in a pull in fourth gear starting at 2500 rpm's. I put my stock intake back on which sucks because I can't hear my turbo spoiling any more but I think it helped it a little not much. Do I need to adjust my wastegate or what? Is this level of boost dangerous? One more thing , the screen on my AP freezes when I hit this high boost. Does any body know what may be wrong? Please help

You paid for the accessport, Call Cobb their customer service is good. Also make sure you are running the latest firmware. The freezing issue sounds like you haven't updated it in a while, at least 4-5 firmwares.

I just updated to 1.2.4.1 they say that this is latest firmware. I'm going to adjust my WG and see if I can't get the boost down. The only thing is that I don't know which way I have to turn the little rod
