My credit union offers a program where you lease a used vehicle through them - that was what worked best for meOriginally Posted by jen.
Leasing is a bad idea all around. I don't know anyone who ever walked away from a lease (at end of term) and was happy about it - unless the dealer suckered them into just starting a new lease on another car.

We actually make less money on leases in most cases rather than a financing purchase.
I have leased cars before and have many customers that will only lease. They keep the car in a warranty period and have less of a payment (usually) than a purchase.
Most people dont ever pay a car off anyway, so a lease is a good way to stay in a newer vehicle under warranty and not worry about negative equity when the lease is up as you would have to worry in most cases about if you traded before the loan terms were up and the vehicle was paid for.
Many dealership sales staff employees will lease vehicles. We have several that will only lease and some that lease their cars, but purchase their spouses vehicle for a longer term commitment. our Subaru sales manager's kids had two leased subaru's. One just got out of his impreza lease and leased a Legacy GT while the other one's lease isnt up until August or so. His $28k or so vehicle only costs him about $375 a month in his 3 yr lease with no money down.
Leasing is just another way to pay for a lease. Some say if you lease a car, you dont own it. Well, if you finance the vehicle, you still dont own it, the bank/lender does.
make sure u post pics when u get it. i would go for an 07, i love the front ends, my friend has an 05 and i loved it untill i got my 07. before i had a 07 i didnt like them much tho hahaha.

Dealers are good places to by the car from cause you have contract that the car wont be a lemmon but you pay the price for it but there good places to get an sti from. Its good you driven stick before that way your car doesnt suffer lol, the only diffrence is that the STI clutchs grab very quick if im correct there more like a racing clutch. and the 6spd close ratio tranny takes some time to get use too as well
