First of all, what year? Depending on the year you will need to get and up/down pipe, CBE and then some engine management. Very cheap, easy power.

Ok, you have the same car I do. In that case you will just need an aftermarket down pipe/CB exhaust and some type of engine management. Either Access Port or RomRaider.

Stay out of the catted downpipe, you will void the warranty, stay out of the electronics, don't touch the turbo.
Subaru has an upgraded LAUNCH diag system. The ECM will store reprograming and will throw a code. You will loose what is left on your warranty immidately!
Stick with Bolt on mods until your warranty is up. Intercooler and exaust are good H.P. jumps.

I beg to differ. Subaru will honor your warranty as long as the mods you have done to your car are proven to not be the source of the problems. Also, Just upgrading to a larger intercooler and aftermarket exhuast will not show noticeable horse power gains. To effectively make the most out of your car for a small sum of money, you will need an aftermarket dp, and some sort of engine management. Cobb is very good with the EM, and gives you the ability to flash back to the stock map whenever you need to.

    Welcome To The Club

EM would be good! Cobb AP is what I have and I'd go with a TBE - Turbo back exhaust with cobb. it'll give you alittle more power and you wont have to worry to much about your warranty. Whats nice about engine management is that you can get some much more out of your mods And like ajd111 said, you can flash it back to stock if you need to.

To optimize horsepower for the dollar, the catback is not necessary. It will not gain you noticeable power on top of the downpipe, but costs a lot.
