    Exclamation Cobb Accessport Question

Hi I am brand new to this site and am planning on pickin up a 05 STI next week. Its 41000 miles for $19,500 And the owner has cat deleted Midpipe/Downpipe with the cobb Stage 2 91 octane ECU reflash. Just wondering what everyones input is in terms of the reliability i can expect from this car. Thanks for reading! ~Mike

    Check for service records.

Ideally, a stock, unmodified car would be best, but StageII is fairly common, and not something to be too worried about.

If the exhaust is catless, you may want to read up about boost creep and the 2.5L engine.

I thought boost creep was an issue with the 06 turbo vs the STI.
Also, I thought EM fixes this issue.

Boost creep is a mechanical problem. EM is a software solution.

The diameter does not effect is, you need to have a catted downpipe, if it is catless, this is where boost creep may be casued.
