There was no 2003 STi for the USA (aka: USDM)... However they have been available in other world markets previously. The OP said it is form France and that is entirely possible since there certainly was a 2.0 liter EDM STi in 2003. It is more then possible that the OP has what he is stating.

    Welcome!

Anybody know if this guy will have trouble getting parts for the car since the car wasn't available in the US?

He's not in the US either I assume. The EU spec STi produced roughly 260 PS but the actual amount varied depending on the fuel available in the country of use. 260 is a good starting number. The owner did not describe the car fully, but if the car had what we in the US call "STi headlights" then it's a regular STi. If it had an EJ207 STi motor and gearbox, plus what we in the US would consider "regular" bugeye WRX headlamps, it could be a SpecC. In either case he's fine as far as parts are concerned.

The body parts are generally the same as any other Impreza of that design save for the bonnet, but the interior bits and mechanicals differ (the usual). Still, spares should be readily available. They won't be cheap though; Jap. spares in the EU are expensive.

so far the car is good ... I hav the boost contoler set at 1.2 and 1.4 Bar ... it runs really hard at 1.4 but I think it needs more work ...

ECU , fuel system ... and then move on from there to bigger turbo and internals ...

guys , I'm really new the subaru madness , need all the help that I can get , coz Im from Bahrian and the guys here don't have much STi s (maybe like 10 cars max ) so not every one knows how to work with the car ...
