    Question Hey New To Scoobs!

Hey new to this whole 4 boxer engines
Names rom...just wanted to ask a couple of newbie questions since i couldnt find on my own:
How much can a stock block make (for Sti's year please)? meaning how much can power can be put out with bolt ons,etc and without working on the block?

How much power can be made to still be street? and still be able to control for the track (not drag)

what type of suspension system is used on USDM sti's?

Im going to do more research and learn so much about these amazing automobile the new Sti's are growing on me expect there tailights lol...In the end what im lookiing for is a weekend warrior for the track...meaning time attacks and such.....great to join a new forum and learn about new things...I'm looking forward to contribute and share with everyone here

welcome to the club! post some pictures of your car for us. as for your questions, i'm pretty sure the stock sti engine can handle up to and about 400whp.

you might wanna stay away from an 07 cause of their ecu problems and such. personally i'd go with a clean 05 as it is considered the BEST year of the sti and as such hold their value well. as for engine power a STOCK sti can squeeze out 300whp before upgrade need to happen. a wrx can squeeze out like 230whp. i could wrong though.

in my head i was thinking with a downpipe and tune. to me those aren't really "that big of a deal" upgrades.
