Sup fellas. First timer here. I have owned 2 previous subies (legacy, impreza) and just stepped into an '08 WRX a few months ago. Had no idea I would fall for her. I have been reading prior posts and i have got to say there is some quality info around here. I have a list of mods to do, but wanted to start off with some wheelz and tires. I wanted to go with some 18's, but have heard mixed reviews. Does anyone have any good suggestions what specs to go with for both style and performance? Maybe any prior posts to check out? Its good to be here - thanks for all the good info!!

Wheels are a good place to start. Do you want performance or just looks?

Gosh thats tuff... I want the best of both worlds. But if I would have to chose I would go with performance.

18" may look best to some, but will probably be heavier with more rotational mass. 18" tires will be heavier as well. You will loose some power just spinning the wheels.
17" will be lighter depending on the wheel giving you more potential performance. A nice resource: http://www.wheelweights.net/
A 17" wheel performance minded thread here: The unofficial STX wheel thread
