Yes you can have cruise control with a stick.

Not sure about your other question but if your concerned about MPG get a honda, I only get about 18 in the city.

It operates the same way that an automatic does - has set, coast, accelerate, resume, etc.

The cruise control will disengage if you push out the clutch (like to change gear), similar to if you tapped your brakes - once you get back into the gear you want, hit "Resume" and you're fine

    +1

You're putting in Premium (91/93) fuel in the WRX, so a normal car with comparable mileage will be cheaper.

Welcome, links in sig for you. I get 22mpg consistantly in real world driving, slightly higher when I'm going easy on it and/or not using the A/C or Defrost.

I'm not an engineer, but it doesn't surprise me that a smaller engine with forced induction would yield better mileage than a naturally aspirated larger engine. But a large displacement engine with forced induction.... that's the good stuff.

I think small turbos do help gas mileage. I have no idea how. But they do. My 1.8T VW has seen above 30 mpg in the city.

I also thought the same thing about cruise control before I tried it on a stick. My dad said they couldn't work

take it to your local mechanic and let em check the car out for you to see if it has any problems, it will cost some money but it would be worth it.
