I think it may be easier to just swap the entire trunk. I've got an OBP 04 STI and would like to go with the wrx wing, limited wing, or wingless.

sry for asking again guys, i've read some posts but they all seem scattered. I'm a huge fan of the sti wing..i just can't afford the sti...i've heard about this 4 bolts? or holes for the wrx, and 17 for the sti?? can someone elaborate on this? how hard would it be? can i just bring it to a shop and be like put it on?? how come it needs like 13 extra holes!!?! any input is great guys!

sti wing on a wrx is unnecessary and adds extra weight
it has extra holes because look how ****ing big it is! it needs more support so it doesnt fly off when youre doing mad jdm ricer flybys.
but if you insist, as previously stated its easier just to completely swap trunks with someone.

yeah it looks kinda cool, but blocks my view, rattles like crazy in the winter, flops around at highway+ speeds and attracts the attn of every cop in the neighborhood. And 60 lbs of downforce at 130 mph......useless
Id rather spend the money on performance.
You need the extra holes becasue of how large the fin is, again you would be better off to swap trunks, and the struts from the trunks as well.

If you swap trunks, remember to swap the locks too...

You could always buy an sti wing and have a shop put it on for you it may not be the cheapest route but it is always an alternative to swapping trunks if you can't find someone to swap trunks with that is.

Like others have said, It is def. easier to swap trunks. Don't forget to swap locks and also the trunk springs as the WRX ones will wear out and not hold the weight of the trunk after awhile.

If you have a 04, the color is Java Black Pearl. it is the only year they offered that color. Java black has gold flecks.

best bet is pay someone who knows what they are doing to put it on.

I was under the impression that the US style is wingless ??
I suppose its down to personal choice at the end of the day.
Uk style is without a doubt the Hi line sti spoiler. Just about every single scooby has one.
