05 wrx with sti wing??

My old 04 san remo WRX had no wing. My 04 jbp STI comes with it and I wish it didn't. I would much prefer the subtle STI limited wing. Going completely wingless might look bizzare because the 04's had the largest hood scoops. TeflonJones was requesting pics of the 04 STI wingless or with limited wing and I'm still waiting for someone to post a good pic.

I thought the STi wing served a pretty big purpose on the car. I didn't know that the STi Limited didn't have one. So basically Subaru put a park bench on the car for no real reason other then style?

Ya, pretty much on there to look like a WRC car.
I believe it has about 60 pounds of downforce at 100mph.
Maybe to an extent it does something, but basically is just extra weight and a rally style look.

Now, the actual WRC wing is very important. It keep the car from front flipping when it's airborne.
so get one of those!

Yeah I've heard 60 lbs downforce at 130...I've done that a handfull of times and it was on a highway strait

switch trunks?? how the heck do you do that?? you have to take off like all the bumpers and quarter panels???..sounds too difficult for me..i wonder how much to pay someone to put it on?? just something about it that i just love!! i think the wrx ones look like crap!!

uh you definitely dont need to take off your quarterpanels and bumper to remove your trunk!

From what I've heard a trunk swap isn't that difficult at all. Like mykedude said just make sure you swap the locks and the springs.
