    Hey everyone,
    i Just got myself an 04 Impreza STi. After wanting one since before I could drive. This isnt my first vehicle I just traded in my 98 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 for this thing. First Impression Holy Sh*t!! haha. Such an impressive car no regrets, until i get that first bill in the mail. Any way how do you all like your Subys and have you had any issues or things I should be aware of? I heard the 04 is one of the better years is that true? thanks ill be posting alot more from now on!1

    I wish I had one but the WRX is a great car to

    Yeah Ive got a 2004 raptor 660R with some light mods. I use it for trail riding mostly and I'm trying to sell it to further mod my suby
    I know I would miss it as soon as I sell it though

    welcome to the club. You're going to love it. Only issues I've heard are rear struts, which I've already had replaced at 35,000 miles. Bearings is another issue I've heard on the '04 but I've not had any problems, although I don't do autocross or anything too rough with it. '04 is a solid car, and the original USDM STi. Enjoy it.

    Which bearings have issues? I've been hearing what sounds like my front left wheel bearing for about 1k miles now. It's getting slowly worse, but I figure it's got a few thousand more miles left before I have to replace it. Hopefully it's a relatively easy DIY job.

    I just heard wheel bearings in general. Can't be much more help than that.
