    new guy

yo yo everybody. I just got my 03 sonic yellow wagon last friday. wow. a big improvement over my 2 previous 240sx coupes(both relatively stock)

i found a 1 owner wagon with 67k on the clock. i snagged it for 12,500, which according to my kbb research is a prety good price seeing as how this car is in such great shape. It came with the 17' almn. wheels, the boost gauge, the armrest extension, upgraded security, and the cool plastic floormat for the back.

im more than happy with it. after i went and drove the dragons tail (near knoxville, tn) i took all my recyclables. gotta love that functionality.

after taking it to the twisties, im happy with the power, but the stock brakes are a little shy. what kinda options should i be considering here? are the sti brakes worth it? or is there a better option?

she handles like the anti-wagon. i walked my boys m3 through the turns. (but i believe im a better driver than he is. hes gonna let me take the bimmer up there soon so i can get a good comparison.)

ive got a question concerning all these braces and links you can get for the suspension: do they realy help that much or should i just save for coilovers?

welcome get wagon specific springs or it will be saggy in the butt

I have a sonic wagon too, it is one of the rarer WRX colors and the wagon is quite rare, we think under 500 in the US.

I'd say upgrade to SS brake lines and Hawk HPS pads - that should bump up your brakes

A decent upgrade - I have done the same with ATE Super Blue fluid as well. The blue makes it easy to see when the old fluid has been completely bled.

+1 to the above suggestion of SS lines and Hawk HPS Pads

a slotted set of rotors looks nice too.

I did the above three and saw an immediate change in braking ability. (In a good way)

I think it's the most cost effective upgrade you can make to the braking system.
