Just went STG 2--Wow! And questions.

I just installed a Cobb Stage 2 (catted) setup with Cobb uppipe, wow, what a difference in power! Most of the photos online don't really show the level of quality of the pieces, I was very surprised when I opened the box. And the sound is very nice. It's almost too loud, I'm wondering if the sound will mellow, I hope it doesn't get any louder. I was worried it would sound high pitched, but it rumbles almost like a v8. Also, did wonders for the off-the-line lag, and the turbo starts spooling almost immediately! For the not-so-near-future upgrades I have just a couple of questions if anyone has time:

1. Car is a 4eat. As far as engine health is concerned, should the next power mod be an upgraded torque converter? Or a larger TMIC? I've heard the TC should be the first upgrade, but I've also read that the TC should be upgraded to compliment your other mods, which leads me to believe that if I were to upgrade the turbo/tmic/injectors/pump, it'd be better to upgrade the TC afterwards. True?

2. Also, is Protorque still the only/best place to get this done? I live in L.A., so I'd hope somebody does TCs out here.

3. I've tried searching, is there a technical thread/sticky for 4eat owners? I found one on Nasioc, but it's mostly a pat-ourselves-on-the-back thread, there is some good stuff there though.

I'd upgrade the TC next. I heard it makes 4EAT owners very happy. What year is your WRX? If it is an 02-05 I wouldn't bother too much with the TMIC until I was gonna get a protune or a new turbo, as it wont give any more power from just bolting it on.

If you have an 06 I'd recommend a new IC just for cooling purposes if you live in a hot climate 100+ deg.

I figured as much about the TMIC. As think there's a Unabomber sticky that says a bigger TMIC gives something like 5-15 hp, but this must be with a protune. I have a 02 wagon. It seems used TCs are hard to come by. I don't really want to remove mine and have to ship it to NJ.
