Hi to everyone. I've been driving Scoobies for 8 yrs. A '99 GT Turbo, '01 Bugeye WRX with Prodrive kit and an 05 Forester XTec. I have 1 car & it has to commute, go shopping, highway cruising, weekend twisties & fishing trips (gravel roads). When I test drove the '08 WRX it was a revalation to me. The light clutch, low road noise & great ride quality overcame the earlier cars' shortcomings for everyday use. IMO it's a car with two personalities; easy to drive in traffic but with true WRX dynamics when you push it hard. I got my new hatchback on Fri Nov 23rd. I gave a mate of mine a quick spin in it & he was very impressed- he drives a BMW 330i Cabrio. The '08 WRX is the car I've always wanted.
I've had a light tint put on the windows & had the sports mesh grill fitted. I hope to post a couple of pics in the next few days.
Dave.

Hi. Thanks for the welcome- really appreciated!
The effort to operate the clutch is about half that needed on the Forester turbo & maybe just a third of what was needed on my 2001 WRX. This 08 model is easy to drive in heavy traffic.
I'll try & post a couple of pics:
