    Question How do I properly Launch and shift STI?

    Hi everyone, just bought a 06 STI and before I go screwing sometin up wanted to know if anyone can give me basic launch and shifting ideas.

    Shift at max HP rpm, and never let the rpms fall to below max torque.Look up the specs for your specific motor and find out what those tworpm numbers are. Always keep the tach needle between those numbers togo as quickly as possible.

    7k clutch drop in reverse to warm up the tires, then launch at 7k in 3rd gear with moderate slip.
