    Muscle Cars to Imports??

I still can't believe I did it, but I traded in my 2001 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning and bought a black 2006 WRX STi. And now I'm considering selling my 1985 IROC-Z to help pay for the STi...

But all it took was one drive. One drive of the STi and I was hooked. It's stupid-fast yet practical; it's unrefined yet very comfortable; it's ricer yet it's not -- the only thing I'd change about the car is the wings...

That said I'm going to hunt down a link for a new spoiler. Anyone want to buy the stock one from mine!

Allot of people find the same color Impreza or WRX and just do a straight up trunk swap. This way you get a factory look and get rid of the park bench on the trunk. This is a pretty common thing around here.

Every WRX/STi has bugs that live in the seats. Once you sit down they nibble at your ass and from then on you've got The Bug.... It's a fast acting toxin and never leaves your system.

Hahahah, those are bugs I'm happy to leave intact.

    And love the sig.

Damn. Now I have to find someone who wants to trade me trunks. Is there no aftermarket spoilers that are decent?

As a previous owner of a 99 Lightning, I can understand and relate. The STi remains one of the best bang for the buck out there today for a practical street driven race car (if there is such a thing).

Many times I still wish I had mine.........

I left Mustangs and jumped over to Subaru's.

It's nice to have a Subaru when it snows.

Yeah... gonna miss that truck. But I've honestly never been much of a truck guy and it was red. I'm not a red color guy either. I like my OBP STI!

Thanks for the trunk swap link, mycologist.

On a side note, I had a couple of my buddies who are Subbie fans, too, come over and take a ride. Needless to say, one of them is about to sell HIS truck for an STI. lol. Damn ass bitin' bugs...
