What do you define as best? One year STi to the next won't show a huge difference in performance, so best might be cheapest? 07 had different heads that are supposedly superior for heat management, and a slightly different turbo... there's minor changes year to year.

If you're looking at a WRX and not an STi, 06+ had a 2.5 engine as opposed to 2.0 which produces huge torque numbers when you throw on a turboback exhaust, but some people say this has shredded their 3rd gear.

    02-03 bugeyes are the sexiest
06-07 hawkeyes are pretty mean looking lights
04-05... blobeyes... we like them too...

You gotta let us know what you're looking for, what your plans are, where you live, how much $$$ you got to spend, etc...

Ok don't get me wrong here... I don't like the STI 08... I find it looks too much like a Mazda3...

Allright... I want to spend aobut 25-27,000, I really love the Bug eyes (02-03). The Blob eyes aren't so bad ant I don't like The Tribeca look of the other ones....

I live in Canada (Gatineau, Quebec) But I don't mind the shipping form out of state.... Heck I'll even go pick it up if I have to...

    You want an STI.
    You don't like hawkeyes (06-07)
    You don't like 08s.
You like bugeyes (02-03, no STi, sorry, unless you can find a JDM one up in Canadia)
    You like blobeyes (04-05)

So it sounds like you want a blobeye STi.

That other one is got tons of mods, and it doesn't mention anything in particular. "huge mods"... more info needed man.
