    Hi

Hi all... Picked up an 05' STi last weekend and so far love it! I'm doing a lot of mods to it this winter and have some ideas but just wanted your input and suggestions.

This is the initial list that I've came up with for the winter mod fest.

    - Greddy Ti-C Catback
    - Greddy SUS Headers
    - Injen cold air-intake

and a few look good mods for winter. I'll eventually end up upgrading the turbo later on next year.

What are your suggestions and should I purchase a EMS or Gauges? If so what gauges should I purchase? What kind of power should I see from these engine mods?

    Thanks in advance!

Research and purchase Engine Management first, then look at mods.

The Injen CAI is known to cause issues with MAF readings - I'd recommend going with the SPT or K&N Typhoon instead. Keep the stock header in place for now. A catback is mostly a noisemaker on our cars, consider replacing the entire TBE (turbo-back exhaust) and flashing to a map designed for an aftermarked downpipe/catback aka TBE.

As far as gauges, I'd recommend Boost and EGT and/or Wideband O2 (sensor and gauge).

Bosal divorced DP and Cobb 3" CBE has worked well for me with a gutted stock 3rd cat. I picked up the whole thing used for $150.

Alright thanks a lot! I'll be ordering an EMS next week sometime... Will the accessport be fine? I'll be ordering up the Greddy exhaust and all that in the next month.

The accessport is what most people go with lately. Myself included.

Invidia Downpipe will go good with the greddy exhaust, altho I'd recommend the invidia catback or Espelir any day over the greddy. Ive never had good luck with any greddy product.
