    Red face 1994 wrx Import

Hey everyone im new to the sight and i have just bought a subaru 1994 wrx import! Im loving it like mcdonalds its everybit the car i expected it to be! Now im not new to turbos being as before this i owned a 200 sx s13 but the subaru engine is completly different!
I have been checking through the car wiring and engine as i always do with a new car because you never know what screts the previous owner might have lol! I have noticed in the engine bay tha for some strange reason that the boost solenoid has two pipes not connected???
The bottom pipe is connected but the top pipe isnt and the side pipe also is not but there is no aftermarket boost controller installed??
Any suggestions as to why this might be and where they need to be installed to?
I think one connects to the actuator but there seems to be no t peice on the pipe should i cut the pipe and add one? Or should i just part with my hard earneed cash and go see mr subaru dealership himself?
    Any help would be excellent?

There may have been one installed at one point.

Assuming you're UK-based, what about a MOT? If you're going to need work anyway you may just let the same shop do it all at once. You don't need a dealer, you can use an independent specialist and save some coin. Check out scoobynet.co.uk for a local user group to you that'll be more familiar with imports before v.7.
