    thinking about switching over...

    Hey guys,

Thinking about trading in my 2005 mini cooper s for the 08 hatch. Nothing wrong with the mini, its quick (under 2500lbs and close to 200whp) and all but i'm thinking about going a different direction... the turbo awd and a little more room direction

Anyways stumbled across this site, a lot of good info and folks here. Hopefully I end up making the switch and joining you guys

    Welcome to the club!

The Minis are cool but there are some definite positive aspects to having more room and AWD too.

    Where are you located?

Cool. Please take a moment to click, bookmark and explore the link in my signature. If you like, check out the Tri-state forum in our regional section as well. There you can interact with some people more local to you. They are good people there and I think they have regular meets too.

Have fun and enjoy the club!

Welcome and good luck with your decision! The Mini's are fun, but certainly not the best vehicle if you need to haul people or stuff. I think you may really like the WRX hatch, and there should be plenty of stuff to make it faster in due time.

Also, the STi hatch will be out at some point too, which also may be more your speed.
