    new guy in chicago

well first off i dont have a wrx yet (currently in a pontiac solstice). ive been inches from buying a new 07 Sti but haven't made the plunge yet.

i was wondering if someone could point me to some tech spec regarding the differences in the all wheel drive system sti vs the evo. do they both transfer power to only one wheel if its got the most grip? or is that just the evo?

also how much of that 300Hp makes it to the wheel in a stock sti?

Greetings and welcoem to the club!

I am not sure where to find the comparison, but I think the driveline loss is around 60 - 70 hp.

Have a look / search in here: Transmission & AWD

    Enjoy the stay.
